Rozyskie retirement
Col. Elwin A. Rozyskie, the 482nd Mission Support Group commander, detonates an explosive after his retirement ceremony outside the Sam Johnson Fitness Center at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., Feb.7. Being a former member of an explosive ordnance disposal team, the 482nd EOD honored Rozyskie by giving him a “hero shot.” A hero shot is an EOD tradition for when a member retires they are given the opportunity to detonate one last explosive.
