Capt. Walter Wyatt
Capt. Walter Wyatt, a World War II decorated veteran prepares to be recognized by the City of Homestead, Fla., in 2014. The decorated veteran and Homestead, Fla. resident passed away Sunday evening. As his family prepared to take him to the funeral home, two F-16 jets from the 482nd Fighter Wing roared over his house coincidentally while returning to base on June 8. Wyatt served as a U.S. Army Air Forces fighter pilot with the famed Flying Tigers in China. (Courtesy photo)
