Fire in the hole! Explosive training readies reservists for deployment
Staff Sgt. Jason Cohen, 482nd Civil Engineering Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team member, takes a knee while he assumes as rear guard duty for his teammate who is working to identify, disarm, and collect evidence left by an Improvised Explosive Device. This was part of a training created to prepare members of the team for deployments by giving Reserve Airmen firsthand experience dealing with IEDs when robotic means aren't feasible.
