Homestead members participate in Truck Day

U.S Army Spc. Chase A. Shedor, a satellite systems operator and maintainer for the 112th Signal Detachment at Special Operations Command South, helps a student at Air Base K-8 Center in Homestead, Fla., get down from a HMMWV that SOCSOUTH brought out as a static display for the children in support of Truck Day on Jan. 31. Truck Day is a way for the school to teach children about different careers available to them when they leave school so they can start thinking about what they want to do when they grow up.
