On Monday Jun 23, the base and the Air force Reserve Command will host the 2014 UFC Fit Tour at the Sam Johnson Fitness Center. Come out and meet 2013 Mixed Martial Art's Trainer of the Year Mike Dolce and Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Robbie Lawler as they put on a fitness workshop from 5-6 p.m. and then a Meet and Greet from 6-8 p.m. This is open to all DOD ID card holders. Homestead Air Reserve Base will hold its 8th Annual Hauntfest Oct. 31 on base, at the Community Activity Center (Building 400) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come dressed in your favorite costumes. The Hauntfest is free admission to all Department of Defense ID card holders and guests and features hayrides, trick or treating, carnival games, face painting, music and dancing and other fun activities for all ages.
