Homestead ARB home to diverse array of wildlife
A 6-foot long Nile Monitor Lizard was recently spotted basking along a canal bank at Homestead Air Reserve Base. Homestead Air Reserve Base’s proximity between Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park makes for a diverse array of wildlife which calls the installation’s hundreds of acres of both woodland and wetlands home.
