IAAFA returns to Homestead ARB
Nineteen members from the Inter-American Air Forces Academy returned to Homestead ARB after 16-years to attend a Noncommissioned Officer Development Seminar, Sept. 15 – 19. The seminar focused on NCO professional development for the air forces of the Bahamas, Belize, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago. It was the first time a seminar of this type was conducted for the English speaking air forces of these Caribbean nations. IAAFA provides technical and military education training in Spanish for more than 600 students annually to military forces and governmental agencies of 21 Latin America countries. The unit moved to Lackland AFB, Texas after Hurricane Andrew devastated Homestead AFB in August 1992. (U.S. Air Force photo/Nelly Veneros)
