Students share the passion

Air Force JROTC students from Booker T. Washington High School, tour an AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter assigned to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Miami Air and Marine Branch, located at Homestead Air Reserve Base on Oct. 31. Forty-eight Army and Air Force JROTC students from South Dade and Booker T. Washington High Schools visited Homestead ARB to take part in the annual Share the Passion Day. The annual career day allows Homestead Reservists and other federal government employees to interact with local students, answering questions and demonstrating the various equipment and tools used in their respective specialty fields.
