Engine shop achieves milestone

Members of the 482nd Maintenance Squadron Propulsion Flight pose with Col. William B. Binger, 482nd Fighter Wing commander after receiving an award for completing repairs on an eighth spare F-16 jet engine on Nov. 1. “It is an uncommon sight to have this many engines on the spare line. It takes dedicated and talented personnel working as a team to accomplish”, said Senior Master Sgt. Charles Kotsay Jr., propulsion flight chief. “This outstanding achievement was the result of the tireless effort and consummate skill of the entire propulsion flight and engine management section personnel”, added Sergeant Kotsay.
