Crew chief for a day

Mr. Ken Lambert, 482nd Fighter Wing Comptroller’s office, prepares to conduct a pre-flight inspection on an F-16 aircraft prior to take-of on Dec. 19. Mr. Lambert was invited by the 482nd Maintenance Group, to participate in the “Crew Chief for a Day” program. The program allows wing support personnel to work alongside “real” F-16 crew chiefs, familiarizing them with the rigors of aircraft maintenance and to give them a better appreciation for what happens on the flightline.
