70th Aerial Port Squadron trains Army Reservists
Senior Airman Neuton Ferreira (center), 70th Aerial Port Squadron, instructs soldiers on the proper methods of building and securing pallets for shipment on aircraft on Jan. 11. Eighty Army Reservists from the 478th Civil Affairs Battalion of Perrine, Fla., drove down with 20 vehicles to train with the 70th APS personnel. The Army Reservists also learned about safety and general cargo procedures, center of balance on aircraft and vehicles, inspections and how to upload and download cargo on a C-130 transport aircraft.
