Daisy’s blossom at Homestead
Maj. Sean Gustafson, 93rd Fighter Squadron pilot, talks to a group of Daisy Girl Scouts from Troop 466, Palmetto Bay, Fla., about the capabilities of the F-16, March 28. The scouts were treated to an afternoon tour of the base that was highlighted by a presentation of special participation badges. Ranging in ages of 5-6 years old, Daisy Scouts are part of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, that go on trips, learn about nature and science, and explore the arts and their communities. Homestead Air Reserve Base offers two tours each month for students or community organizations. (U.S. Air Force photo/Nelly Veneros)
