Homestead Defenders Finest in AFRC

Chief Master Sgt. Michael Blake, Lt. Col. Frank Locascio, Juan Lemus, Senior Master Sgt. Wilfredo Vargas and Senior Airman Sergio Greco hold up accolades garnered by the 482nd Security Forces Squadron for 2007. The Air Force selected the 482nd Security Forces Squadron as its best security forces reserve unit for 2007. The squadron won for best in the Air Force Reserve Command; Senior Master Sgt. Wilfredo Vargas won the full-time senior non-commissioned officer category; Mr. Juan Lemus won the full-time civilian category; and Senior Airman Sergio Greco won the Elizabeth Jacobson Award for outstanding war-fighting contributions of first term Airmen.
