Homestead ARB home to wildlife sanctuary

Mr. Toby Hairston, U.S. Department of Agriculture wildlife biologist, is assigned to the base full time to help run the program that helps safeguards air operations at Homestead ARB. Mr. Hairston works with base operations and the flight safety office to implement the Bird/Wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard program that protects pilots, aircraft and wildlife.
