Welcome home party
MIAMI, Fla. -- Master Sgt. Paul Rieth, 482nd Maintenance Squadron, and nine other reservists returned home from Iraq and were greeted with a reception coordinated by Miami International Airport and the office of Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz. The Transportation Security Administration Honor Guard and U.S. Customs agents from the airport volunteered their time to participate in the homecoming. The reservists were deployed to Joint Base Balad, Iraq, to support U.S. and Coalition ground forces working to stabilize the country. F-16 fighter jets from Homestead ARB remain in Iraq, and reservists will continue to rotate in and out over the next two months. (U.S. Air Force photo/2nd Lt. Erik Hofmeyer)
