Deployed reservists donate medical device to Bulgarian children’s hospital

GRAF IGNATIEVO AIR BASE, BULGARIA - Chaplain (Maj.) Vincent Cummings, 482nd Fighter Wing chaplain, presents a new cardiac monitor to Dr. Stefan Lazarov from the Medical University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, at the closing ceremonies of a two-week deployment to Graf-Isnatievo Air Base, Bulgaria. Approximately 200 Airmen and 10 F-16s from Homestead Air Reserve Base deployed to train with the Bulgarian Air Force MiG 21 and 29 fighter jets. While deployed, the Airmen raised $2,800 to purchase the medical device for the children’s ward at the hospital in the nearby City of Plovdiv. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Bucky Parrish)
