Deployed reservists donate medical device to Bulgarian children’s hospital

GRAF IGNATIEVO AIR BASE, BULGARIA - Two F-16s from Homestead Air Reserve Base (background) are parked along with Bulgarian Air Force MiG 21 fighter jets (foreground) at Graf-Isnatievo Air Base, Bulgaria. Approximately 200 Airmen and 10 F-16s from Homestead Air Reserve Base deployed to train with the Bulgarian Air Force. While deployed, the Airmen raised $2,800 to purchase the medical device for the children’s ward at a hospital in the nearby City of Plovdiv. This particular medical measuring device is of critical importance in emergency medicine and is very useful for patients with respiratory or cardiac problems. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
