Cadets tour base

Capt. Miriam Krieger, 93rd Fighter Squadron pilot, answers questions while an Air Force Junior ROTC cadet peers into the cockpit of an F-16 on April 16. The 28 cadets and chaperones from Kathleen High School, Lakeland, Fla., received tours and briefings from an F-16 pilot, air traffic control tower personnel, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and an up-close view of an F-16 take-off. The group wrapped up their visit with lunch at the Falcons Nest club. Homestead ARB offers two tours each month for students or community organizations. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tim Norton)
