Homestead reservsits etched in history

JOINT BASE BALAD, Iraq -- Approximately 500 members of the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, including reservists and an F-16 (pictured top left) deployed from Homestead Air Reserve Base, stand in formation as part of an historic photo with: retired Lt. Col. Alexander Jefferson; retired Lt. Col. James Warren; retired Maj. George Boyd; and former Staff Sgt. Philip Broome, all Original Tuskegee Airmen; and Lt. Gen. Gary North, 9th Air Force and U.S. Air Forces Central commander, on April 24. The 332nd AEW traces its military lineage back to the 332nd Fighter Group in World War II, which was comprised of the famous Tuskegee Airmen. (U.S. Navy photo/Navy Chief Sean Mulligan)
