Bilateral Training
Corporal (Cpl) Marc-Andre Poirier from Sherbrooke, Quebec, checks a Canadian Forces CF-18 Feb. 22 during the bilateral exercise, CHUMEX, at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. The three-week exercise pitted Canadian CF-18s against F-16s from Homestead’s 93rd Fighter Squadron. F-15s from the Florida Air National Guard also participated, and all of the fighters got support from an Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft from Tinker A.F.B, Okla. and a CC-130 refueling tanker from the Canadian Air Force.
