RAPTOR GUARD

Tech. Sgt. Eugene Smith guards the newest item in the Air Force inventory, the F-22 Raptor. This year is the third time Sergeant Smith has volunteered to perform security duties at Opa Locka airport during the McDonald’s Air and Sea Show in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Sergeant Smith is a member of Air Force Reserve Command’s 482nd Fighter Wing Security Forces Squadron at Homestead Air Reserve Base. He and fellow reservists provided security for all visiting aircraft during the four-day event which attracted more than two million visitors. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Paul Dean)
