Staff Sgt. Ryan Ayers (center front) performed hundreds of military funerals and ceremonial colors presentations as a Reserve honor guard member for the 482nd Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. Sergeant Ayers served on the wing honor guard continuously from September 2005 to October 2006 and is still called to train new team members. Sergeant Ayers is a chaplain assistant in the Air Force Reserve and was recently recognized as the 2006 Citizen Airman Outstanding Reserve Chaplain Assistant of the Year.
