PROUD CADETS
A color guard of Navy Junior Officer Training Corps cadets from Felix Varela High School presents the colors to begin the 16th annual Chamber South Military Affairs Committee golf tournament at the Miccosukee Golf and Country Club May 25. 57 military golfers from the local area played for free in the tournament thanks to local civic and business leaders who sponsored them. The tournament raised approximately $20,000 for the Chamber South chamber of commerce and culminated a month filled with military appreciation and awareness events. (U.S. Air Force photo/Jake Shaw)
