482 flagship dedication

Col. Randy Falcon thanks Tech. Sgt. Terry Troup, an egress systems maintainer, and fellow Maintenance Group Airmen for their hard work in refurbishing the Wing flagship. The 482nd FW commander lauded their efforts for “making aircraft 290 look better than the day it left the factory.” Airmen presented the commander with a pristine jet here July 15 after a flawless repainting and meticulous cleaning. Each Air Force wing commander of a flying unit is authorized an aircraft designated as the flagship, or commander’s plane. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Paul Dean)
