Base hosts Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart Service Academy Day

City of Homestead Councilwoman Amanda Garner, next to Col. Randall Falcon, 482nd Fighter Wing commander, attended the Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart Service Academy Day at Homestead Air Reserve Base to lend support to the event. Approximately 15 local high school students and their families met with representatives from the Air Force, Coast Guard, U.S. Military, Naval and Merchant Marine academies at the Heritage Hall Training and Conference Center to discuss and learn about the educational and career opportunities available at the respective academies.
