Col. Rob Polumbo, 482nd Fighter Wing Vice Commander presents retired U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. John Ingram the 2007 Retiree Activities Office Volunteer of the Year Award during a ceremony at the Homestead Air Reserve Base Exchange, Sept. 28, 2007. In 1979, Ingram retired from the U.S. Coast Guard with over 30 years of service. He continued his service to the military as a volunteer with the American Red Cross working at the Homestead Air Force Base hospital. Today, Lt. Cmdr.
