Guard unit helps protect nation

An F-15A Eagle prepares to launch from an alert facility at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., Oct. 3 during a training exercise for Operation Noble Eagle. The 125th Fighter Wing, Det. 1, Eagles are on a 24 hour stand-by, fully loaded with live munitions and can be airborne in minutes.
