Homestead ARB has a ball
Members of the Homestead Air Reserve Base honor guard, conduct the POW/MIA ceremony at the "Heritage to Horizons" Air Force Ball Nov. 2, 2007. The ceremony centers around a small table, which occupies a place of dignity and honor near the head table. It is set for one, symbolizing the fact that members of all our armed forces are missing from our ranks. The night’s event is part of a year long world-wide celebration commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the U.S. Air Force and local military members recently deployed. The gala was co-hosted by the 482nd Fighter Wing, Homestead ARB, Fla., and the Greater Homestead/Florida City Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tim Norton)
