Navy P-3 emergency landing at Homestead
A U.S. Navy P-3C Orion long-range maritime surveillance aircraft landed safely at Homestead Air Reserve Base on Tuesday after an in-flight emergency and is trailed by 482nd Civil Engineer Squadron fire and emergency services technicians who met the aircrew upon landing. Air Force firefighters remain ready to provide a full range of fire and emergency services in peacetime and wartime such as handling potential hazardous material leaks, structural or crash rescue and emergency medical response.
