Operation Barbeque: Wing hosts Family Day

The 482nd Fighter Wing hosted a Family Day for about 1,400 wing reservists who regularly take time away from their civilian careers and families to serve part or full-time in the Air Force Reserve. The celebration served as a way to thank families for their support and foster unit camaraderie. The Family Support Office and 482nd Services Squadron personnel spearheaded the behind-the-scenes coordination, and offered entertainment for all ages. Picnic attractions included softball games, bingo, live entertainment, a bounce house and inflatable slides for children, an appearance by Santa and free raffles.(U.S. Air Force Photo/Tech. Sgt.
