Base tour inspires JROTC cadets
A Hialeah High School Air Force Junior ROTC cadet gazes into the cockpit of an F-16 fighter jet during a tour of Homestead Air Reserve Base on Jan. 11. About 35 students got a first-hand view of the jets, received a briefing from a pilot, security forces personnel, Air Force Reserve Recruiters, and toured the aircraft control tower and fire station. Homestead ARB offers two tours each month for students or community organizations. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Erik Hofmeyer)
