482nd EOD aids Miami police
Some of the many pieces of ordnance retrieved from an apartment in Miami in early June, 2010. The materiel was disposed of by Explosive Ordnance Disposal members from the 482nd Fighter Wing, Homestead Air Reserve Base on June 11. Homestead EOD was called in by Miami police. "Homestead Air Reserve Base?s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called because we are the designated agency for disposing of unidentified explosive ordinances," said Master Sgt Derald Ortloff, Senior EOD Program Manager.
