Airmen from the 482 Logistics Readiness Squadron at Homestead Air Reserve Base gave monetary support to help more than two hundred and fifty children in Honduras recieve school supplies and a fun filled day of activities and games. "This event gave joy and hope to the children in Siguatepeque, that due to the remote areas of living and scarce resources, rarely get to enjoy these luxuries," said Staff Sgt. Homestead Air Reserve Base will hold its 8th Annual Hauntfest Oct. 31 on base, at the Community Activity Center (Building 400) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come dressed in your favorite costumes. The Hauntfest is free admission to all Department of Defense ID card holders and guests and features hayrides, trick or treating, carnival games, face painting, music and dancing and other fun activities for all ages.
