Grenade Range
Homestead Air Reserve Base is in the process of cleaning up a 20 acrea area that was once used as a grenade range. A specialized team from CAPE enviornmental have been clearing the area. "We have found old signs outlining the border of the suspected range boundries," said said Richard Norton, Sr. Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor for CAPE Environmental.
