Military Appreciation Day

Loretta Marsicano sings the National Anthem as the Homestead Air Reserve Base Honor Guard presents the colors and the Homestead Senior High School Color Guard salutes to kick off the city of Homestead’s first annual Military Appreciation Day at Losner Park, June 2. The day featured an F-16 flyover from pilots of HARB’s 93rd Fighter Squadron, live-music performances from bands Main Highway and No Restrictions, a variety of food trucks, children’s activities, and a proclamation from Homestead Mayor Steven Bateman and city council was presented to Col.
