ACC command chief visits Homestead’s active duty Airmen, addresses Total Force Integration

Airmen of Homestead Air Reserve Base and Detachment 2, 20h Operations Group, gathered during a dedicated crew chief ceremony at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Jan. 14. The dedicated crew chief ceremony was especially poignant as it’s the first assignment of an active duty crew chief to an F-16 at Homestead ARB since Hurricane Andrew. Air Combat Command’s command chief master sergeant, Chief Master Sgt. Richard A. Parsons, visited Homestead ARB to get a first-hand look at how the active duty Airmen of Detachment 2, 20th OG, are integrating with the 482nd Fighter Wing. (U.S. Air Force photo/Ross Tweten)
