SOCSOUTH Warrior Challenge
Army Sgt. 1st Class Ademar Cubero (left) and Air Force Capt. Robert Lax swim 500 meters along the Homestead Bayfront Park shoreline during the Special Operations Command South Warrior Challenge March 8. The challenge featured several physical fitness and military skills events such as a 4.5 mile run, weapons malfunction and assembly station, and 4.5 mile ruck march. The event consisted of 21 teams assigned to SOCSOUTH competing for bragging rights among the unit. The competition allowed for members of the command to enjoy a day of fun and help build its esprit de corps. The event ended with a command barbeque.
