Chief Master Sgt. Robert Michalak, 482nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron superintendent describes how an F-16 jet engine after burner works during a base tour on March 22. Thirty-five students from Miami’s Read2Succed took part in the 482nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs tour program. Read2Succed is a non-profit after school program specializing in targeting literacy amongst youth as well providing children the necessary tools and resources to achieve academic success.
