Special Operations Command South conducts Rotary-wing Airborne Operation

A paratrooper assigned to Special Operations Command South jumps from a MH-60 helicopter during a rotary-wing airborne operation at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., April 16. This operation allows airborne-qualified personnel assigned to SOCSOUTH to maintain current airborne proficiency and mission readiness in response to any contingency response force in the command's area of responsibility, which spans from the Caribbean, Central and South America.
