Airman's Council holds car wash May 4

The Homestead Air Reserve Base Airman's Council is holding a fundraiser car wash at the Homestead Job Corps parking lot (corner of 288th St. and 285th St.) from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. May 4. The council is also having a bake sale at the car wash. They welcome any baked-good donations. Seeking volunteers: The council needs four or five volunteers washing cars per shift. Each shift will last one hour and volunteers can stay as long as they would like. Proceeds from the car wash will be used to raise funds for the Airman's Council to improve events and increase camaraderie among junior enlisted Airmen. Pre-Sale tickets are currently available.
