Golden Knights return to Homestead

The Golden Knights, the U.S. Army parachute team, are back at Homestead Air Reserve Base for their winter training. Golf tournament raises funds for military appreciation programs

Grenade Range

Homestead Air Reserve Base is in the process of cleaning up a 20 acrea area that was once used as a grenade range. A specialized team from CAPE enviornmental have been clearing the area. "We have found old signs outlining the border of the suspected range boundries," said said Richard Norton, Sr. Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor for CAPE Environmental.
