Base receives new commander

The 367th Fighter Squadron welcomed new commander, Lt. Col. Ryan Ley and his family to Homestead Air Reserve Base on June 22. During a change of command ceremony, Ley replaced outgoing commander Lt. Col. Peter Kasarkis. The 367th Fighter Squadron is an active duty unit integrating with the 482nd Fighter Wing Reserves under the Total Force Integration initiative. The concept of TFI is to embed Active Duty personnel with their Guard and Reserve counterparts. Prior to arriving at HARB, Ley was assigned at Misawa Air Base, Japan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
