367th FS gets new commander

 The 367th Fighter Squadron held a change-of-command ceremony inside Hangar 200 June 10.

Lt. Col. Henry Jeffress relinquished command of the 367th FS to Lt. Col. Peter E. Kasarskis with Col. James McCune, the 495th Fighter Group commander, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, presiding over the ceremony.

Kasarskis is a senior pilot with more than 2,500 flying hours and joins Team Homestead after serving as the director of operations for the 455th

Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

Jeffress departs from HARB after serving two years as the 367th FS commander. He is headed to Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, where he will attend the Air War College.
