Air transportation specialists from the 482nd Mission Support Group's 70th Aerial Port Squadron load 25,000 pounds of U.S. Agency for International Development relief supplies on a Puerto Rico Air National Guard C-130 before dawn Sept. 8. Destined for Nicaragua, the mission was part of a U.S. Southern Command humanitarian effort to help communities affected by Hurricane Felix. The relief supplies consisted of 140 rolls of plastic sheeting, hygiene kits capable of supporting a family of five for up to two weeks and wool blankets.
