Homestead Services have launched their revamped Web site - www.Homestead-Services.com -serving as a gateway to the facilities, programs, and events offered at Homestead Air Reserve Base.

"The site shows almost everything we have to offer base personnel and military retirees in the area," said Timothy Walker, Homestead Services director.

Services personnel recommend adding the Web site to your list of "Favorites" or click the link located on the 482nd Fighter Wing's home page.

All Homestead Services departments have their own informational pages, and details may also be found on upcoming events such as the Club membership drive or the commissary case lot sale. In addition to current and upcoming events, the site offers online reservations for the Homestead Inn, ticket pricing for theme parks and sporting events, a free classified advertisement section, and a "scrapbook" of recent functions.

"We still have big plans for the Web site, but now it's to the point where we can make it public and people can see what's going on. We're trying to make it a one stop deal," Walker said. "It'll be a big plus for anybody coming to Homestead to see what we have to offer our customers."

The Web site isn't only for full-time base personnel.

"Generally, reservists come here once each month and we would surprise them with what's going on over the unit training assembly weekend," said Mr. Jeff Carney, Homestead Services marketing director. "Now, the Web site will give them the means to see what's going on so they can plan their time over the Reserve weekend."
