482nd Civil Engineer Squadron change of command Published Sept. 16, 2009 By 482nd Fighter Wings Public Affairs HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. -- Lt. Col. Theodore Munchmeyer assumed command of the 482nd Civil Engineer Squadron during a change of command ceremony at the base fire department on Sunday, Sept. 13. Munchmeyer relieved Lt Col. William Riehl, who continues to serve as 482nd Mission Support Group deputy commander. "I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to become the CES commander here at Homestead ARB," Munchmeyer said. "The ceremony itself was great. In the true Civil Engineer spirit, having the smell of asphalt in the air made it a day to remember." Munchmeyer attended the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pa., before moving to Homestead Air Reserve Base.
