Senior Master Sgt. Antonio Romero (left) and Senior Airman James Jean (right), 93rd Fighter Squadron members, were recognized during the pre-game ceremony of the New Orleans Hornets vs. Miami Heat game as part of the team's "Home Strong" Program on Nov. 22.

The Home Strong program, championed by NBA Hall of Famer and Heat President Pat Riley, recognizes military members who have recently returned from deployments to Iraq or Afghanistan and praises the contributions of military families during each home game at American Airlines Arena.

During the ceremony, the Airmen were presented with Miami Heat championship customized dog tags by Heat forward James Jones and guard Mario Chalmers on the court. The dog tags are inscribed with a special message from Pat Riley.

Romero, Jean and their families were also treated to dinner and free game tickets as part of the Home Strong program.

All nominees for the program must be nominated through their unit and coordinated with the 482nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office. For more information about the program, please contact the Public Affairs Office at (305) 224-7330.
