Base earns numerous civil engineering and environmental awards

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. --  Air Force Reserve Command announced the winners of the command's 2010 Air Force Civil Engineer and General Thomas D. White Environmental Awards Dec. 7.

The following units and individuals won CE awards:

439th CES, Programs Flight, Westover ARB - Brig. Gen. Archie S. Mayes Award for excellence in providing facility products and services of exceptional quality to base customers

349th CES, Explosive Ordnance and Disposal Flight, Travis AFB, Calif. - Senior Master Sgt. Gerald J. Stryzak Award as the top performer through sustained superior mission support and outstanding achievement

482nd CES, Readiness and Emergency Management Flight, Homestead ARB - Col. Frederick J. Riemer Award for exemplary performance in support of the engineer readiness mission in the air reserve component category

Lt. Col. Gregory R. Ottoman, Headquarters AFRC/A7, Directorate of Installations and Mission Support, Robins AFB - Maj. Gen. L. Dean Fox Award for superior job performance by a senior military manager

Senior Master Sgt. Lawrence P. Corrigan, 934th CES, Minneapolis-St. Paul IAP ARS - Chief Master Sgt. Larry R. Daniels Award for superior job performance by a military superintendent

Master Sgt. Adam M. Cronk, 624th CES, Hickam AFB - Society of American Military Engineers Goddard Medal for outstanding contributions to military engineering

Gerald Hromowyk, 914th CES, Niagara Falls IAP ARS, N.Y. - National Society of Professional Engineers Federal Engineer of the Year Award for accomplishments of federal government engineers in the civilian category

439th CEF, Westover ARB - Balchan/Post Award for outstanding performance by military snow and ice control personnel during the previous winter.

439th MSG CEEF, Westover ARB - General Thomas D. White Cultural Resource Management Award recognizing the installation conducting the best or most improved cultural resources management program during the previous and current fiscal year 

482nd MSG CEEF, Homestead ARB - General Thomas D. White Sustainability Award recognizing the team that contributes the most to the Air Force's effort to implement sustainable practices, as defined in environmental order (B.O.) 13423 during the previous and current fiscal year in the team excellence category

Andrew G. Milroy, 439th MSG CEEF, Westover ARB - General Thomas D. White Cultural Resource Management Award recognizing the individual who contributed the most to the Air Force's cultural resources management effort during the previous and current fiscal year in the individual excellence category

482nd MSG CEEF, Homestead ARB - General Thomas D. White National Environmental Policy Act Award for the team that contributed the most to the Air Force's NEPA effort during the previous and current fiscal year.
