Members of the 482nd Fighter Wing, friends, family and wingmen gathered outside Homestead Air Reserve Base to witness the unveiling of a plaque dedicated to Master Sgt. Adolph Crawford on March 6. The plaque was attached to the F-16 in front of the Coral Sea gate.

In a world filled by so many people, it is a rarity to find someone that stands out of the crowd and leads a life of example through dedication and service. Master Sgt. Crawford faithfully served over 30 years of dedicated service to the U. S. Air Force. His career took him on tours of Japan, Germany, Turkey, Hawaii, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

As a respected Air Force Technician assigned to the 482nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Master Sgt. Crawford had a wealth of knowledge of the aircraft and mission he worked on.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Bobbie Crawford of 30 years and their six children. Those who knew Master Sgt. Crawford will forever be touched by his life. The dedication of the F-16 is a distinguished honor that Crawford earned for his military and civilian family to remember his outstanding contributions over the year.
