LRS assumption of command

The 482nd Logistics Readiness Squadron held an assumption of command ceremony at bldg 178 on Sunday Nov. 6.

Lt. Col. George Adrian assumed command of the 482nd LRS where he will be responsible for providing plans readiness of mobilization of troops, base transportation, aircraft fuel and overseeing over 100 Airmen.

"I am excited and more than honored to take command of this outstanding squadron and will do my very best to provide them with exemplary leadership and support," said Lt. Col. Adrian.

Lt. Col. Adrian has served as an Air Force guardsman and reservist pilot for over 26 years; flying over a 150 combat missions and served as chief of command and control for the 482d Fighter Wing.

"Lt. Col. Adrian has the leadership, experience and hands-on approach that is needed for the position and is the right officer for the job," said Col. Elwin Rozyskie, Jr., commander of the 482d Mission Support Group.
